Lex Stomp is dean of the department of teacher education for secondary education at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences. He is also director of the International Department Education at the Faculty of Education.
He started as a geography teacher in lower vocational education and then he was appointed at Windesheim University. There he became senior lecturer in Geography and senior consultant in educational leadership and school development. In a European project with eleven partner universities from eight EU countries he developed a successful method called ‘Scenarios for the Future of Education’.
He has been dean of the teacher education department for primary education for 5 years. Since 2005 he is the dean of the teacher education department for secondary education at Windesheim.
At the conference, Lex Stomp and Marlies Rijbroek will present the paper: “21st Century Learning: Blended learning, an integrated approach at Windesheim”.
