Senior Research at CNR, received her degree in Chemistry in 1992 and her Ph.D. in Biochemistry in 1997 at the University of Bologna (Italy). Author of 120 publications in qualified journals and more than 100 communications to National and International Congresses.
She has a long experience in education and dissemination activities at middle and high schools as well as at University and is very active in the framework of the EIT Raw Materials Community. She is the project coordinator of Raw Matters Ambassadors at Schools (RM@Schools ), the flagship programme in the Wider Society Learning segment of EIT Raw Materials, born in 2016 and involving now a strategic partnership between School, University, Research and Industries from 13 European States.
In 2018 she was one of the nominees for the EIT Awards 2018 which recognises the outstanding achievements of women entrepreneurs and leaders from European Innovation Communities and, regarding the EIT Public Award voting, she finished 2nd out of 38 nominees.
