Siw has several years of experience as a project manager for ICT in the school sector. She is also a previous teacher in upper secondary school with 16 years of in-classroom experience and four years as an online teacher.
In 2019 she was the project manager for the Monitor survey, which is conducted among Norwegian schools and kindergartens. The Monitor project consists of several surveys with different respondent groups (students, teachers, school leaders, school owners, employees, and leaders in kindergartens). Monitor takes part every second year and is initiated by the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training. The aim is to know more about the digital state in schools and kindergartens.
