Marlies Rijbroek is lecturer/senior consultant modern foreign languages at the department of teacher education for secondary education at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences. She is also project leader of the ‘Teacher education department Chinese language and culture’.
Being a linguist in Spanish language and literature and after a career in business she worked in primary schools. First as a teacher and later as a manager she specialized in special educational needs and second language learning and teaching.
Then she was appointed as lecturer and senior consultant in modern foreign languages at Windesheim. She is project leader of two important projects: a Confucius Institute application and a bilingual education project : “Teaching in English”.
At the conference she will present with Lex Stomp the paper: “21st Century Learning: Blended learning, an integrated approach at Windesheim”.
