Hong Li is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Russian and
East Asian Languages and Cultures and the Interim Director for Education Abroad at Emory University. She received her Ph.D. in Chinese linguistics from the University of Minnesota. Her research interests lie in the area of Chinese language pedagogy and Chinese syntax, and she has authored textbooks for teaching Chinese as a second language. Her work has appeared in journals such as the Journal of the Chinese Language Teachers Association and Routledge Handbook of Chinese Language Teaching.
