The Future of Education

Rene Alimisi has a rich engineering background and thorough knowledge of the field of Information Communication Technology in Education. She holds a degree in Computer Engineering (University of Thessaly, GR) and a master with distinction in ICT in Education (Institute of Education, University of London). She has successfully attended several modules involving: Research Methods and Development, Computer Mediated communication, Learning Technologies, Instructional designing, Digital video production, User Experience Research, Human Computer Interaction, Learning Principles and Evaluation of technological and learning interventions.

Rene has more than 4 year experience within the area of European Projects (with a direct focus on pedagogical applications of technology) and teaching/training experience in well- known Greek Institutions (University of Thessaly, ASPETE, IDEKE, Adult Education Centers), primary schools in Greece and UK.

She is currently working as an Educational Technologist in IRETETH (Institute for Research and Technology- Thessaly).
