Denise Jones has degrees from Ball State University in Visual Communications and Adult Education (MA ’99). She has extensive experience in higher education designing for mobile devices, the Web, internal systems and publications.
She has served on Planning Committees and the Board for CASE—the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, District V.
Balancing the importance of standards and efficiency with the escalating growth of the university’s Web environment, Jones led the first implementation of content management within a university setting. The management system was configured to support multiple design options, content sharing across the platform, data connections to legacy information, form creation, and event calendaring.
In her current role, Jones explores blending emerging technologies with academic subjects to expose potentials for making a difference in education. Her interests include: data visualization, information graphics, e-books, and mobile design.
