Dr. Julie A. Zaloudek is an assistant professor in the Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) program at the University of Wisconsin – Stout. She also serves as program director for the HDFS Online Degree Completion program. Zaloudek’s training specific to this project includes: Graduate of the Preparing Future Faculty Program (focused on teaching in higher ed.) at the University of Minnesota; Master Reviewer for Quality Matters (applying best practices in online course design using evidence based standards); participating in the advanced cohort in the Universal Design for Learning program (University of Wisconsin – Stout’s Nakatani Teaching and Learning Center); coursework in instructional design, distance education, and technology enhanced learning; and has served as the Family Social Science Graduate Curriculum Development Coordinator (doctoral curriculum innovation project at the University of Minnesota). Zaloudek has been teaching in higher education for six years, administrating an online program for four years, and actively conducting research on teaching and learning.
