The Future of Education

Dorianne Buttigieg is a member of the Malta team participating in the European Union funded Lifelong Learning Leonardo Da Vinci transnational Program together with members from United kingdom, Croatia, Czech Republic and Hungary. The consortium is working on enhancing hospital laboratory standards for continuing professional development: transnational evaluation of a novel CPD activity for specialists in laboratory medicine. The project received over €100,000 in EU funding.

Professionally Dorianne is an Allied Health Practitioner MLS responsible for the histology laboratory at Mater Dei hospital, Malta. Besides continuous scientific and management training, in 2003 Dorianne Buttigieg read Masters Degree in Biomedical Sciences with the University of Ulster, Coleraine Northern Ireland.
