Alison is the Head of International Education Research Hub, responsible for Research strategy, thought leadership and knowledge exchange. Alison is an assessment specialist with over 9 years’ management experience in international education (secondary and higher education). She has a strong background in research with excellent understanding of assessment theory and research analysis. Alison has extensive experience of developing qualifications, assessment materials and frameworks for international ministries and organisations She also has an excellent track record of designing and delivering high-quality assessment training and support packages.
She is involved in PDQ training for teachers and examiners. She has designed and led training courses relating to assessment and learning. Alison has 24 years teaching experience both in the UK and internationally, including Assistant Head for a specialist college in Science and Head of Faculty for Science for a large and successful department.
