Sofia Sá, Educational Psychologist, started her training career 20 years ago and now serves as a freelance trainer and educational consultant at various Portuguese universities and polytechnic institutes. She holds certifications from the Scientific-Pedagogical Council for Continuing Education (CCPFC) and IEFP (CCP).
From 2018 to 2022, she was a full-time invited at the Instituto Superior Técnico, an Engineering University, where she designed and delivered two Curricular Units on Communication Skills within the Computer Engineering Master's Program.
She earned the Excellent Teaching award in all eight semesters and received the Outstanding Teaching Award, given annually to the faculty member with the best pedagogical outcomes across all master’s programs.
A recognized specialist in University Pedagogy, she joined the speaker lineup for the Brent-Felder Webinar Series, organized by the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES). Currently, she focuses on delivering training, consultancy, and research related to the adoption of active methodologies in Higher Education.
