Abstract

Let your students explore the world through a 360° lens! Use 360° fly videos, Google Expeditions or create your own virtual reality to use in class! These videos and pictures allow your students to make their own connections with the target culture through virtual reality. Participants will observe how the 360 video camera functions and is uploaded to YouTube or simply present how students can take their own 360* photos and insert sounds to use them in class.  Examine lessons, essential questions, curricular materials, and the many projects of how one can best utilize the latest technology in class at any level of proficiency. Here is an easy way to take your students on a virtual field trip! Think of the possibilities of having students connect 360 photos and videos to Google Cardboard goggles! Presenters will share virtual reality and 360 resources with examples from primary school, middle school and high school to be shared with participants. The presentation will be offered in English with examples in English and Spanish.
