Empirical, Innovation and Attitude in Developing Composition Writing

Abstract

Developing Innovative approaches to teaching composition, the presentation will explore a range of empirical approaches to teach the conventions of writing. There will be a practical demonstration of writing quality before and after innovative techniques have been introduced to enhance composition. Innovative techniques will be discussed and practically applied by conference attendees. We will explore ways to teach purpose and task achievement along with design and structure of writing combined with grammatical formation.The session will discuss the attitude of the writer to the task of writing through the empirical innovations. Keeping it real and exciting will be the key theme whilst completing the essential task required. Practical innovations will be illustrated through experiential teaching with university students. Examining approaches to enhance the quality of writing. Composition of thesis will be explored to develop assessment approaches to create a dialog between student and teacher.
