Abstract
This research article explores the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in improving language proficiency among English language learners. The article highlights the potential of AI to provide personalized, interactive, and adaptive learning experiences that cater to individual learners' needs. The article also discusses the role of AI in providing customized and adaptive support for improving language skills while strengthening the role of context in AI. The study focuses on applications of AI and has used a systematic review methodology to explore the benefits and challenges of using AI language learning tools. The article also highlights the impact of AI systems on learner-instructor interaction in online learning, with a focus on personalized guidance, support, or feedback by tailoring learning content based on student-specific needs. The article concludes that AI has the potential to revolutionize language learning by providing personalized and adaptive learning experiences that cater to individual learners' needs while strengthening the role of context in AI. However, the article also highlights the challenges of using AI in language learning, including the need for more empirical studies on the impact of AI systems on learner-instructor interaction.
