Varvara Golovatina is lecturer of Russian language in the Institute of Applied Language Studies in the University of West Bohemia (Pilsen, Czech Republic) and methodologist in the Russian centre of Russkiy Mir Foundation in Pilsen. She holds a degree of PhD in Philology (2006, Ural State University), MA in Philology (2003, Ural State University). Varvara Golovatina is an author of presentations at the international conferences and publications in Russian, English and Czech languages, including didactic materials. She has been involved in a number of educational projects in the field of Russian language teaching and learning. Her research interests include cognitive linguistics, ICT in language acquisition, oral presentation and folklore studies.
