She graduated in Spanish Language and Literature in Brazil where she collaborated in projects related to Spanish language and culture teaching.
In Spain she has a degree in Spanish Philology and a University Master’s Degree in Teacher Training: Secondary and Upper Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Language Teaching. During her Practicum she had the opportunity to participate in a class of Spanish language immersion for immigrant students and develop a teaching unit. Her Master's thesis was focused on teaching Spanish as a Second Language using a Webquest as a teaching/learning tool.
She has worked as a Spanish and English teacher as a foreign language in Brazil and Spain. Her current research interests are collaborative learning, the role of technology in language learning process and bilingual education.
