Ingrid Gran is a programme officer at the Swedish Council for Higher Education in Stockholm. Ingrid graduated as a teacher in languages and history in 1983 and worked as a teacher from 1983 to 2011, when she started working at the International Programme Office in Stockholm with the Life Long Learning Programme activities.
During her teaching career Ingrid has been involved in and responsible for several European projects, among others Comenius and Leonardo da Vinci projects as well as a Youth in Action project.
Ingrid has also graduated in marketing for tourism, and she has worked a lot within this field as well, as a teacher and as a programme developer. The last years teaching at school Ingrid was also responsible for clinical training for teachers (internship).
Since 2011 Ingrid has been working with the Comenius partnerships, Comenius Individual pupil mobility, the Comenius Teachers´ Assistant programme, Erasmus+ school and Erasmus+ KA1 mobility. Now she is responsible for the Transnational Cooperative Activities Contact Making Seminars and some of the Thematic Seminars, the European Language Label within Erasmus+ in Sweden, multilingualism and the Nordplus Language programme.
Ingrid takes also part in the Swedish Language Teachers´ Association
Areas of expertise: languages, school systems, support for project management, recruitment, pedagogy for teachers and several other areas within the educational field.
