She graduated in Licensure of Modern Languages English and Spanish from Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia in Tunja – Boyacá in 1998. Then, she got her Master’s Degree in Teaching of Languages at the same university in 2013.
She has developed some research studies concerned with the constant reflection of improving language teaching practices and exploring the social dimension of learners.
She is interested in being updated in the field of language teaching and in providing alternatives to teach at her local context. Nowadays, she is a full time English teacher at Colegio Guillermo León Valencia in the city of Duitama – Boyacá in Colombia and, she is also a part-time professor at Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia in the same town.
