Innovation in Language Learning

Dr. Joanna Pfingsthorn is a lecturer and research associate at the Institute of English and American Studies at the University of Oldenburg, where she trains prospective EFL teachers. She holds a PhD in TEFL from the University of Oldenburg, a Master of Science in Cognitive Science from the University of Amsterdam and a B.A. in Psychology from Jacobs University Bremen. Her research interests have lately included, but are not limited to, language awareness and dealing with language errors, interlanguage pragmatics and judgment of appropriateness, planning and structuring lessons.
