Zhou Zhinan is a Professor in English at Harbin Institute of Technology in China. She graduated with a BA in English from Beijing Normal University, in China, where she was trained to become an English teacher. She got a Post Graduate Diploma in English Language Teaching from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, completed her MA in Education at Harbin Normal University in China and her PhD in English at Shanghai International Studies University in China, working with Professor Xu Yulong. She also studied at RCEAL in Cambridge University as an academic visitor for 6 months.
Her research interests include EFL classroom teaching at the tertiary level esp. teaching methodology of English listening and speaking, and English poetry, esp. poetry translation.
