Innovation in Language Learning

T.J. Ó Ceallaigh is the director of the M. Oid. san Oideachas Lán-Ghaeilge agus Gaeltachta programme in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. As a former immersion principal, his main research interests focus on the role of the instructional leader, the pedagogy required for the successful integration of language and content instruction and on continuing professional development, with particular reference to language immersion contexts. Dr Ó Ceallaigh has recently co-edited a book on the topic, Teacher Development for Immersion and Content-based Instruction (Benjamins, 2020) with Laurent Cammarata, PhD, University of Alberta, Canada.
