Konstantinos Chatzidimou an Associate Professor of Language Teaching Methodology in the School of German Language and Literature of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece).

He graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (School of Philology, specialization in Linguistics) in 2004. He has an MA and a PhD in Education Sciences. He has received scholarships for post-doc research at the Institute of Education, Heidelberg University of Education (2011-2012) from DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and at the School of Philosophy and Education (2012-2013) and the School of German Language and Literature (2016-2017), Faculty of Philosophy, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Research Committee. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses, as an adjunct lecturer, at various Greek universities (Democritus University of Thrace, University of Western Macedonia, University of the Aegean, and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and at the Heidelberg University of Education. In 2017 he was elected and appointed Assistant Professor of Language Teaching Methodology at the School of German Language and Literature of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he serves as an Associate Professor since 2022.

He is scientific supervisor of the Sub-Projects 6 (Central Macedonia) and 7 (Western Macedonia) in the framework of the Project: “Supportive interventions in Roma communities to enhance access to education and to reduce early school leaving by children and younger teenagers” (2020-2023) – co-financed by Greece and the European Union (European Social Fund-ESF) through the Operational Programme “Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020”. He has supervised many postgraduate theses in various postgraduate programmes, he currently supervises two PhD theses and one postdoctoral research, and was/is a member of seven-member thesis examination committees and three-member advisory committees. He has published various books, articles in scientific journals, chapters in edited books, papers in scientific congresses, and translations.
