Fatma Al Alawi is The Deputy Director of Certificate and Qualification Department in the Ministry of Education Sultanate of Oman. She is responsible of three sectors the accreditation , the students affairs and the certificate sectors.
Fatma graduated from Kuwait University in 1990 , since then she worked for the ministry of Education in different fields starting with teaching , English supervisor, Head of Training Centre and currently in the Qualification accreditations department .
Fatma involved in a lot of projects that deals with education such as being a member on establishing a new Omani framework ,preforming and analyzing curriculum assessment and monitoring the new curriculum for the main subjects.
Fatma participated in many conferences:
- inside the country such as the English Language Teaching Conference in Sultan Qaboos University, British Council Educational Conference and Technical college foundation Centre Symposium
- outside the country TESOL Arabia in Dubai and INQAAHE Conference 2017 in Bahrain“ Between Collaboration & Competition: The Promises & Challenges for Quality Assurance in Higher Education ”.
