Mr. Shkelqim Hajrulla is a PhD holder in Applied Mathematics. From 2019 he is a full-time staff member at Epoka University, Tirana, Albania.
Shkelqim graduated at University of Tirana, Albania as a Math teacher in 1990. After 2009, he attended and graduated MSc in 2011 and PhD in 2019 in Applied Math at University of Vlora, Albania.
Since 1990, for about 25 years, he has constantly been working in the field of education, teaching Mathematics at either high school level or university level. From 2016, he possesses an evaluated Diploma from USA, accompanied with an evaluation report of academic records.
From 1990 to 1994 and from 2001 to 2006, he taught as a mathematics teacher in the high schools of Vlora in Albania. From 2006 to 2009 he has worked as vice director and director of Pedagogical school in Vlora. In 2016 and 2017, he participated in an international exchange program, a European project of higher education institutions.
From 2003 to 2009, Shkëlqim held some courses of Applied Mathematics at the University of Vlora as a part-time lecturer. From 2009, he started as a full-time lecturer at the University of Vlora, teaching mathematics for several years. Since 2019, he is a full-time lecturer at Epoka University, Tirana, Albania.
Having participated in several educational exchange programs and being part of international summer schools, he has a good experience in guiding and teaching international students. He guided by clear philosophies in education; describe learning objectives, concepts, ideas or skills that students are able to grasp and apply. Throughout his teaching career, he has had the opportunity to interact with students at all stages of life, from high school through college and university, both in the classroom and one-on-one settings.
During the last 10 years, Shkelqim has participated in many international seminars and conferences, focusing especially on the field of education and scientific research. In some articles, he deals with applied mathematics with different topics, as well as with the problems of education in Albania and the ways of communication around the world in education. He was also a member of the scientific committee for the peer reviewing of papers presented for two international conferences in the field of computer engineering.
Areas of expertise: worldwide cooperation in education, improvement of English in scientific departments, expert in education at high school level and university level, application of applied math in different departments, leaders in departments for specific purposes.
