Fernando Rubio is Professor of Spanish Linguistics at the University of Utah, where he is also Director of the Second Language Teaching and Research Center (a Title VI National Language Resource Center).
Professor Rubio’s research interests are in the areas of Applied Linguistics and Teaching Methodologies including technology-enhanced language learning and teaching. His most recent book, co-authored with Daria Mizza, is Creating Effective Blended Language Learning Courses: A Research-Based Guide from Planning to Evaluation, Cambridge UP (2020). He has also authored numerous articles and book chapters on issues related to second language acquisition, assessment, and technology-enhanced language teaching.
