Ana Guadalupe Torres Hernández is a full-time professor at the University of Veracruz Language Centre in Poza Rica, Mexico.
She graduated in ELT from “Escuela Normal Superior del Sur de Tamaulipas” in Tamaulipas, Mexico in 1999. Since then, she has constantly been working as an EFL teacher in diffrent modalities.
Ana Guadalupe Torres Hernández holds a Master in Educational Technology and a PhD in Education.
She has been involved in the design of on-line English learning materials for “Eminus” the institutional educative platform.
She has coordinated different EFL courses at the Language Centre in Poza Rica.
She was the Language Centre Ambassador for Sustainable Development (2011-2014).
She was Coordinator of the Language Center in Poza Rica from November 2014 to July 2016.
Ana Guadalupe Torres Hernández has presented different papers in Mexico, Spain and Italy, regarding educational technology for language learning.
She has also been an ESL teacher trainer and is currently member of an academic unity at the Poza Rica Faculty of Pedagogy.
She has just been appointed Academic Coordinator of the virtual English modality at the University of Veracruz.
