Cerassela Anghel teaches English at the Middle School “Nicolae Iorga”, Ploiesti, Prahova county in Romania.
Cerassela graduated the Faculty of Letters of the University of Bucharest in 1996. In 2008 she completed a master degree on Concepts and Strategies of Intercultural Communication at the Petroleum-Gas University in Ploiesti with a dissertation on Educating Communication in English through Games and Songs.
Cerassela was a Peace Corps language trainer and she taught English for six years together with 3 American volunteers. She had many E-twinning, Comenius and Erasmus projects, and a lot of International projects with schools all over the world.
Since 1999 she has been collaborating with a British native speaker for her lessons on culture and civilization.
Starting with 2017 she has cooperated with the Institute for Educational Sciences in Bucharest in a film-based project.
Her main areas of interest are: communication, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, PBL, modern teaching techniques.
