Asma binti Abdul Rahman is Associate Professor of Education, Linguistic Education of the Islamic Science University, Malaysia (USIM). She has 25 years of experience in linguistic education, Arabic studies and Islamic civilization, Arabic language and literature, Islamic studies, linguistic studies, Arabic language for science (degree) with science and she thought the gifted genius pupils of PERMATA INSAN Arabic language under the government project called PERMATA NEGARA.
She also has five years of experience as Assistant Doctor in the Hospital Hiraa’ Al-Takhsussi Specialist in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. She has founded the industry-funded project with Al-Mawhiba’ Gifted children’s and students, Riyadh $1 million for every year for PERMATA, RM3.5 million to WAQF and other researches above RM265 000. Over the last decades, she has made an original contribution in the Linguistic Education an Invention and Innovative Teaching and Learning in the whole Asian, Middle Eastern and some in African universities. She has funded the sustainable of teaching linguistic education must be applied in the Quran and Sunnah all of the Islamic manuscripts which will be given to the society to be used by the society.
She also has been conducting collaborative research, editing, handbooks and books, developing new courses, and developing supervised outreach programs. Her recent interests are syntaxes, morphology, phonology, sociology, etymology, semiology and lexicography. Her work led to several of semantics, semiotics and sémantique are applied in the Quran and Sunnah in the Islamic manuscripts. She has worked as coordinator in whole centre in USIM. She has served as teacher, lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, panellist, advisor, supervisor and reviewer for Linguistic Education in Asian countries like Malaysia, Korea, Brunei, Indonesia, and Singapore, Vietnam and Laos then the Middle East countries like, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Morocco, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria. She has been a visiting-professor of seven 7 universities in Morocco. She has been published more than 47 books as text, reference books and formula books.
She has been an education board of five journals and reviewer of manuscripts for over 20 journals. She also has founded the student chapter of the linguistic education. Her publication on pedagogy linguistic education, invention and innovative in teaching and learning linguistic for whole community has been cited as the special awards in the world. She has received multiple awards from USIM, locally and internationally levels for her teaching, research and services.
