Svetlana Titova

Svetlana Titova is a Vice Dean, Professor, Department of Foreign Language Teaching Methodology, School of Foreign Languages and Area Studies, Lomonosov Moscow State University. She has over 25-year experience in researching, teaching, training, and publishing in foreign languages education and e-learning. Her main research areas are ICT integration into FL teaching, E-learning methodology, mobile devices and apps in Language Classroom. She has more than 10-year experience in teaching blended land distance courses on professional development for FL teachers.
She is a founder of the educational website Learning and Teaching with the Web http://learnteachweb.ru/ that aims at facilitating the process of implementing web resources and tools into learning and teaching experience, It keeps teachers up to date with the latest developments in e-learning and mobile learning.
She is a material developer and a tutor of online continious professional development courses for foreign language teachers.
In 2012 Titova received a grant from the Norwegian Center of International Cooperation (SIU) for collaborative international project CPRU-2012/1000 Enhancing Technology Awareness and Usage of m-Learning in Russia and Norway. In 2013 S. Titova was the coordinator of the international project MOBILE (2013-2014), which was sponsored by Sør-Trøndelag College (HiST) Trondheim, Norway. In 2014 being a research Professor of Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language, S. Titova received a grant and took part in the designing and creating of massive open online courses for professional skills improvement ICT in Russian as a Foreign Language Teaching and Mobile Technology Integration in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language as a part of the RF project Promotion of the Russian language and learning Russian. At the moment she coordinates a long-term research project of LMSU - Mobile devices in Language Classroom: theory and practice.
She is a member of international professional organizations - EuroCall, CALICO, JALTCALL, IATEFL (SIG Learning Technologies), NATE. Titova S. is invited a plenary speaker and workshop presenter to the conferences of Russian professional associations, namely NAAL (National Association of Applied Linguistics) and NATE (National Association of Teachers of English in Russia). She also took part in the following international conferences: EuroCALL, IATEFL, EduTech, EduLearn, WorldCALL, etc.
