Innovation in Language Learning

Ryuichi Yorozuya is a professor of English Language Education at Hokkaido University of Education.
He has been engaged in pre-service and in-service training for primary school teachers in Japan for 35 years. His recent research interest includes the roles of specialist teachers in English teaching in primary schools, connection between primary and secondary school English language teaching, teaching listening to young learners, etc.
He was a president of The Japan Association of English Teaching in Elementary Schools(JES) from 2016-2019.
