Language and Culture Institute in Washington DC, USA. From 22, July -19, August 2015.
She also presented some seminars about
· using e-portfolio in the teaching and learning process.
· “Effective Strategies for Turning Receptive Vocabulary into Productive Vocabulary in EFL Contexts”.
Avan Kamal Aziz participated in the “Fulbright Scholar Program” as a Fulbright Iraqi Scholar from 29/6/2014 - 6/9/2014 and she studied some courses such as: “Language Curriculum Design, Grammar for Language Teachers, Methods in TESOL, Research Writing Design.” Also, She presented some seminars like “Iraqi Culture and Education Status of Iraq’s Institutions” and “Education in War-Zone”. In addition, She participated in multiple important cultural exchange opportunities. Also, She was the Iraqi speaker at the Marblehead Rotary Club on behalf of my 8 Iraqis at Salem State on 8/14/2014.
