Yun graduated in Ph. D degree of School of Education from the Virginia Commonwealth University in 20111. Since 2009 till now, she has worked at St. Catherine as a middle school and upper school Chinese teacher.
Right now she is an AP rater for College Board and PPST grater for ETS. She worked for Middlebury summer program, a half-immersed Chinese program, and STARTALK funded by American government for some years. She also taught at Virtual Virginia Chinese 2 and AP program online for three years.
