Dr Randi Harlev teaches and develops materials for English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and English for Specific Academic Purposes (ESAP) at Ruppin Academic College (Israel) and teaches Professional Communication at Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (China). She has taught EFL to children, adolescents and adults for nearly 30 years. She also served as a pedagogical advisor and instructor of EFL methodology at Oranim School of Education of Haifa University and as a teacher counsellor and organizational consultant for the Israel Ministry of Education.
Randi has also developed online and blended learning EFL and ESL courses for commercial publishers and universities worldwide. She has held senior management positions both in-house and as a consultant, managing large publishing projects for educational technology publishers, and working closely with Ministries of Education throughout Europe, Departments of Adult Education in the United States and the Ministry of Workforce Development in Singapore.
Randi holds a PhD in Organizational Behaviour/Sociolinguistics from Anglia Ruskin University and an MA TESOL from the University of London, Institute of Education. Her research is in assumptions in language teaching and in teamwork. She has presented extensively at international conferences and has published numerous articles.
