Innovation in Language Learning

Petra Langerová is an English lecturer working at the Department of Languages, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Brno University of Technology in the Czech Republic. She has been teaching there since 2005. Currently she is in her second year of PhD. studies at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno. Her dissertation topic is Language learning styles of Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication´ students.

Petra graduated in English and Italian philology from the Faculty of Arts at the Masaryk University in 2005. She had studied Italian at the Universita` Ca´ Foscari in Venice during her Erasmus stay. After finishing her studies she started working at the Department of Languages where she has been actively teaching up to now. She specializes in technical English, Business English and English for specific purposes.
