Meechai Wongdaeng has worked as an instructor of English and EFL teaching methodologies in a public university in the south of Thailand for several years. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the School of Education, Durham University. His research interest is on the application of metacognition and other learner-centered approaches in EFL pedagogy and on the use of evidence to inform education policy and practice.
