Urania Sarri holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, an MSc in Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL) and a PhD in Languages and Social Sciences from Aston University, Birmingham, U.K. She has worked as an English teacher in primary and secondary education for more than twenty-five years in Greece and Cyprus. Currently, she is the Educational Coordinator and teacher trainer for the English teachers in the area of the Peloponnese, Greece, and a SEP tutor in the Hellenic Open University. Her main academic interests involve individual bilingualism, the education of culturally and/or linguistically diverse children, and issues of language and migration.
