New Perspectives in Science Education

In this article, the question of the relationship between design and decorative and applied art is considered, and the relevance of using creative approaches in the educational process of designers of decorative and applied art in the design of modern interior. The goal is to identify the synthesis of design and arts and crafts and their distinctive features.
In accordance with the goal, the following tasks were solved: the state of the modern domestic and foreign design was analyzed, studied the relevance of the use of decorative art in the design of modern interior, the essence of the synthesis of design with arts and crafts and the use of this subject in educational programs in the direction of design.
Methodological novelty of the research lies in the new approach to the development of the discipline program Architectural and design projection with the construction of the trajectory of the creative development of future designers on the example of the use of applied crafts in modern design practice.
This system allows you to make new adjustments in the implementation of the design - project, focusing on the requirements of modern society.
The results of the research were theoretically and practically justified and presented in the creative projects of students.
As a result of the work, the expediency and the urgent need to apply the applied art in conjunction with the design developments for the preparation of future designers were identified.
