Abstract

In order for future generations to comprehend the natural world, solve urgent environmental and health issues, and develop science, biology education is essential (1). Recent years have seen major changes in biology education in Saudi Arabia (KSA), primarily due to the country's dedication to promoting scientific literacy and creativity.

This paper offers a thorough analysis of biology science education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing significant accomplishments, difficulties encountered by graduate and undergraduate students (1,2), and promising approaches (3,4).

The article culminates in suggestions for augmenting biology science instruction in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These emphasize ongoing professional growth (Alshehri, 2023), inquiry-based education (5,6), practical applications (Alhazmi, 2020), digital technologies (5), cooperation, and global research prospects (7). By putting these suggestions into practice, KSA can keep producing a new generation of biologists with the know-how to tackle urgent problems and develop science and technology in the nation.
