New Perspectives in Science Education

Tanja Van Hecke obtained a master's degree in applied mathematics in 1995 from the University of Ghent. In 1998 she finished her doctoral thesis in numerical analysis. Since 2000 she worked at the faculty of applied engineering sciences at the University College Ghent where she teaches several courses in mathematics and statistics. In 2013 this faculty became part of the faculty of Engineering and Architecture at the Ghent University.
