Elaine Galvin is a PhD student studying in the University of Limerick, Ireland.

At present she is carrying out research in the area of Biological misconceptions present among students, pre-service teachers and qualified teachers. The aim of her research is to help teachers become more aware of misconceptions and provide them with the skills and resources to identify and overcome them in their own classrooms.
