New Perspectives in Science Education

Corinne Donovan is an Assistant Dean of Research and Evaluation at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY. She supports the School of Education in national accreditation as well as state and federal reporting. In addition, she works with faculty to help design and implement their research in school settings.

She has a strong background in program evaluation and assessment design and development work. Her recent research includes evaluation of educator preparation standards, and assessments of clinical preparation programs with a focus on science education.

Her work continues to focus on teacher preparation with critical consideration of new standards and regulations and the validity of such requirements.
