Umit Turgut is the president of Physics Education Department of Ataturk University.
He graduated in Physics Education from the Ataturk University of in 1992. Then he graduated master level in the same department in 1996. He got the doctor’s degree in 2000. Since 1996 then he has constantly been working in the Physics Education Department in Ataturk University.
Umit Turgut is an expert in atom and molecule physics. He is also an expert in physics education. He studies in teaching and learning strategies. He especially studies constructivism and 7E learning method.
