Carmine P. Gibaldi is a Professor of Organizational Behavior and Management at both Harvard University and St. John’s University. He also has an ongoing management consulting practice that addresses issues related to organizational change, leadership, training and development, and executive coaching. His consulting practice has provided assistance to organizations in the private as well as public sectors.
Carmine is an expert regarding issues related to better understanding people in the workplace, the managing of people at work, higher education, and understanding the adult learner. He teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses and is also highly experienced in teaching international populations of students, and in utilizing online platforms in his teaching.
Carmine has presented over 40 papers at international conferences addressing both issues related to Organizational Behavior and Management, and Higher Education and Teaching.
His most recent publication is entitled, “The Changing Trends of Retirement: Baby Boomers Leading the Charge”; in 2014. And his present research projects include, “Fear in the Workplace”, “Cultural Implications for Organizational Behavior”, and “Examining the Failure of Leadership”.
Dr. Gibaldi has received numerous awards, and most recently received the Joanne Fussa Distinguished Teaching Award from Harvard University, May 2013 commencement, and a Fulbright Senior Scholar Award in 2013. He has served on many not-for-profit boards and at the present time is Chairman of the Board of a not-for-profit board serving the poor in New York City.
