New Perspectives in Science Education

THOMAS RAJOTTE is professor at the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT ) . He has a Master of Education from the Université du Québec à Rimouski and a Ph.D. in education from the Université du Québec à Montréal. As a researcher in mathematics education, he is associated with the Centre de recherche interuniversitaire sur la formation et la profession enseignante (CRIFPE) and the Groupe d’étude sur l’enseignement des mathématiques en adaptation scolaire (GEMAS). His research interests focuses on mathematical problem solving, interpretation of learning difficulties in mathematics as well as on pedagogy through play.
