Adel A. Sharif is a full professor of Mechanical Engineering at California State University, Los Angeles.
He received his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal State LA followed by earning an MS and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from University of California Irvine. He continued with a postdoctoral appointment at Los Angeles National Laboratory for two years after which he accepted an appointment in Department of Engineering at University of Michigan, Flint.
