Sabina Maraffi is graduated in Geology cum laude and is a confirmed teacher of Sciences since 1993. She is PhD student in Science and Technology at School of Advanced Studies, University of Camerino, Italy, where she deals with teaching and learning processes in the Earth Sciences education.
She gained experience as a tutor and an expert in European Projects, is expert in educational multimedia and she was author of multimedia publishing works of Sciences (Edises) for future teachers.
As scientific disseminator, she opened a personal website for sharing materials with colleagues and students (www.maraffi.net). She was also Project Manager of scientific conferences, she participated as a collaborator in some European Programs, she attended numerous conferences and workshops and she has several international publications.
Currently, research of professor Maraffi is about the possible educational applications of Didactic Role Playing Game Engine in the teaching of Science.
