Sariat Ajibola Adelakun is a Chief Lecturer at the Integrated Science Department, Federal College of Education (Special) Oyo. Oyo State. Nigeria.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc. Hons.)degree in Chemistry, a Master’s degree in Science Education and Post Graduate Diploma in Education, all from the University of Ilorin, Ilorin. Nigeria. She also holds a Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. She is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree at the University of Birmingham, UK focusing on Access to Science by Students with Visual Impairment in Nigeria
Sariat is an expert in school supervision. She is often invited as facilitator at in-service training seminars and workshops organised for science teachers in public and private secondary schools in Nigeria. She also provides mentoring services for students with visual impairment in some mainstream schools in Nigeria.
She has published eleven books (three co-authored) for teaching Science to Nursery pupils, teaching Chemistry in the secondary and tertiary Institutions. She has many articles in reputable local and International Journals.
She is a co-director of Science and Technology Centre for Blind Nigerian Youths a non-governmental organization in Nigeria.
