New Perspectives in Science Education

Dina Tsybulsky earned a M.Sc. in science education from the Hebrew University, where she also completed her PhD in 2014. Her doctoral work, in which she designed, implemented, and evaluated an innovative science-outreach program showed that participation in the program, which included a unique lab visit component, led to a long-term improvement in students' understanding of the nature of science and their attitudes towards science. Dr Tsybulsky’s postdoctoral research at the Mofet Institute and Tel Aviv University has centered on the study of science teachers’ worldviews and their effect on teachers’ “digitalized” educational practices. She is currently working at Tel Aviv University as a lecturer and senior research associate in the School of Education.
