Juan Antonio Macías García is a Ph.D. student from the University of Málaga, currently working on his thesis in the field of the didactics of Mathematics. Currently, he is a full-time professor at Rey Juan Carlos University in Spain.
He graduated in Mathematics from the University of Málaga in 2014. The following year he completed the Master’s degree in Mathematics and the Master’s degree in Teaching Secondary Education, both from the University of Málaga. Last year he completed the Master’s degree in Policies and Practices of Innovation in Teaching
Juan Antonio’s field of research is quite varied. His main line of research is the phenomenology behind the notion of finite limit of a function at a point, subject about which he is developing his doctoral thesis. He is also researching about other topics such as didactical analysis of textbooks or research about Flipped Classroom.
