Pier Luigi Gentili is an Assistant Professor in Physical Chemistry at the Chemistry, Biology and Biotechnology Department of the University of Perugia (Italy).

He has several collaborations and work experience in many laboratories- for instance, the “Photochemistry and Photophysics Group” of the University of Perugia (Italy); the “Nonlinear Dynamics Group” of the Brandeis University (USA); the “European Laboratory of Nonlinear Optics” in Florence (Italy); the “Center for Photochemical Sciences” of the Bowling Green State University (USA); the “Laboratory of Computational Chemistry and Photochemistry” of University of Siena (Italy).

Pier Luigi’s research and teaching activities are focused on Complex Systems.

Pier Luigi loves teaching the scientific theories that help to understand Complex Systems. His lectures are interdisciplinary in their contents. He has written a book entitled “Untangling Complex Systems: A Grand Challenge for Science,” published by CRC Press (FL, USA) in 2018.
